We believe preschool should be an enjoyable and nurturing environment, allowing children to explore, learn and develop their imaginations and creativity. Our dedicated and well qualified staff are prepared to go the extra mile, to plan inspiring and engaging opportunities for your children.

We are situated in a bright and spacious hall, with easy parking for drop off and pick up. Outside, we have an exciting sensory garden to explore and our large garden is a hive of activity. Our extensive outside spaces provide a variety of interesting areas for children to explore and discover safely. The garden contains an area for water play, a log pile, a mud kitchen, growing area, bikes and trikes for racing around, sand pit, loose parts, construction equipment, role play and a small world space.‘Wild Learning’ is an important part of your child’s time at Flying Start. With soft furnishings and cushions, we also provide places to sit and snuggle, to read, to sing and for children to feel cosy and comfortable.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, which is a set of standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old.

Flying Start Pre-School provides early years FEET funded places for 2 year olds and for Government Funded places for children age 3 and 4 years. We also accept most childcare vouchers.
